well, i've been somewhat lazy selecting best answer. i always read all the answers right away and give everyone thumbs up. but, i've been getting to a point where i wait till my questions are highlighted and then extending the expiration. but, i never let them go into voting.

I usually extend them whe they're highlighted as I tend to ask a lot of questions in a day.

I usually answer when I get the correct answer. I've got a question going at the moment with no really useful answer so I'm going to leave that one till the death.

If I'm going to extend it I always decide at the last minute when it's highlighted.

sometimes, when i'm trying to give the right person a best answer,if not then i let it go into vote and then recheck the
answer then pick the best answer.

I seldom extend it, unless it is a "complicated" or "intense" question. Then, I do so when I feel like it.

not really. as soon as i ask it, i read it, but then i just leave it as it is. no need to waste time. no need to extent.
