What are the advantages and disadvantages to the "North American Union" we keep hearing about on talk shows?

It's Communism, Loss of Sovereignty and no central government. You would be deprived of inalienable rights, Free Speech, and Civil Rights.

our govt will be overthrown before that happens.

according to some of our founding fathers, this needs to happen anyway...
