Yes definitely, I think time changes everyone and makes people realise some people are no longer at their level nor have they grown up since school and this makes you grow apart. I also have a friend who is for the first time at 21 dating a guy and this has made us grow apart, my other friend has kids and this has made us grow apart. I think time changes everything and people choose who they want to continue friendships with. Each to their own. :)

Sure, what brought you together in the first place was similar experiences, if those experiences change it's easy to drift apart. There's your high school friends, college friends, single friends, married friends, think about how many friends make it from one level to the next as you grow up.

Yes. Been there and done that. Experiences and events change people's lives and we all don't go through the same things. I don't have that much in common with my old friends anymore.

Yeah, it happens. For instance, let's say that they want to spend their lives as pathetic loser Jay and Silent Bob wannabes, and you don't find that appealing.... then yeah... call me when you grow up sort of thing.
