im getting my belly button pierced tomorrow with my best friend. now i have heard that it hurts a lot..from others not so much. now i kinda like getting shots and i cut =/ the pain is like 3/10 when i cut so how do u think it will compare to the piercing?
(i know that it is horrible to cut and i am currently going to a therapist for it so theres no need to talk about how i shouldnt cut)
do u think that it will hurt as badly or less?

I have my belly button pierced, and it didnt really hurt. But it was a little sensitive for about 2 days, but not that bad. Just keep it clean, and dont touch it with dirty hands, and don't remove the ring until it's fully healed, usually after about 4 months or longer.

Well it is a piercing, and its a hole in your body, and the needle is going to be going right through your skin and out the other; so its gonna hurt I'm not going to lie, but all piercings hurt. Unless you don't mind pain. It shouldn't hurt badly, only for about a few seconds and once it is done you'll probably feel some more pain. But that's to be expected. Good luck.

I tried getting mine done yrs ago, but it was too thick or she didn't pierce it right with her gun (it was free so I said go for it)

i doubt it could hurt more then cutting.......
