Travel about a bit and visit a few different places ~ there's so much to see on Y!A :-)
Etiquette is a real hoot and the people are really nice, and I also love Pets, Society and Cultures General, LGBT and Seniors (that's where some REAL fun is), plus I love Elections, Politics and Current Events (where you can come to understand the true meaning of obsession ... just don't say 'mccann' ... well, you'll see what I mean, *weg*).
You'll also find some smart and deeply contemplative people over in Religion and Spirituality ~ watch the fireworks even if you don't participate!
If you enjoy talking with young people, Family and Relationships is great, and if you like meeting with out-of-towners, be sure to check out Travel, where the International crowd hang out.
And of course, if you feel like getting down and dirty, you can also visit Gender and Women's studies, where the battle of the sexes is being re-fought every day by some of the smartest gals and trickiest blokes about.
Then, just to wind it all up, visit the epicurean set in Eating and Drinking for some great recipes, fine wines and delicious deserts ~ you can always visit Health and Fitness tomorrow to find out how to shed the extra kilos!
It's a weird and fun world out there, so why not start by visiting some of the fascinating corners in your very favourite corner of Yahoo, lol.

In the the Dream Interpretation section in Social Sciences you can read about what is happening in people's inner thoughts and try to explain it to them.
If you like to argue then you might like the Politics or Elections sections.

Try society and culture stuff.......it is a lot like p/s but they seem to get away with a lot more than we do here. I love the dog one , too. Watch your back....there are evil forces out there. lol
