I call it coke. I'm from mississippi, but now i live in texas.

The only reason people would call soda COKE in the first place, is because Coca~Cola is a *brand* of soda, not soda itself. It'd be like calling any hamburger a Big Mac or something. Pop is a sound, a noise that soda makes. Cola is a cheap, generic, nameless brand of soda. We call it soda, because that's what it is. *Massachusetts*
