They are made of liquid water (not gas) which condenses around tiny particles of dust and soot in the atmosphere.

When lots of these droplets collect together you get a cloud.

Clouds are made of uncountable tiny particles, either water droplets or ice crystals, or a mixture of the two.
The water droplets are usually about 10-20 micrometers across, or about one-twentieth of the diameter of the period at the end of a sentence .A volume of air the size of a sugar cube may contain many thousands of droplets.

Clouds are important for many reasons. They reflect sunlight and trap heat, and thus influence global warming. They are also the source of rain and snow, and the site of thunderstorms, hurricanes and tornadoes.

Clouds can suddenly appear in the sky, . When humid air rises, it cools until the invisible vapor it carries is forced to begin condensing as droplets, just like vapor from your shower condenses on your cold bathroom mirror.

At extremely high altitudes and extremely cold (-40 F and below) temperatures, clouds may contain only ice crystals. These clouds usually look wispy or hairy. The clouds that produce rain and snow are warmer, and commonly contain a combination of water droplets and ice crystals

Clouds are made up of tiny water droplets formed around dust particles in the atmosphere. As water evaporates from the surface of the earth, it rises until it comes into contact with a microscopic dust particle. The dust particle is cooler, sothe evaporated water, clings to it, and cools to form droplets. As these droplets conjoin, they form clouds. Once the cloud is too heavy and the air cools, the cloud releases these droplets in the form of rain, hail, or snow.

Cloud is an aggregate of very small water droplets, ice crystals, or a mixture of both, with its base above the earth's surface. The cloud is confined to the troposphere.
At temperatures below zero degree celcius, cloud particles frequently consist entirely of super cooled water droples.
