I have 2 children. With the second I discovered that if I took a pregnancy and breastfeeding suppliment (Blackmores Pregnancy Gold, Australian) and the most wonderful product reccomended by my midwife- Spatone (liquid natural iron) It made a HUGE difference to my energy levels- wished I knew this with my first. Good Luck!
(You really have to try Spatone, even the lack of sleep during first few weeks after birth was eased with it. Apparently it's the equal of eating 4kg of brocolli with each dose, costs about 1 dollar per day but REALLY worth it)

If the morning sickness is severe enough to interfere with your schedule speak to your doctor since there are medications they can give you that will alleviate the symptoms. Less morning sickness will give you more energy. Make sure you are eating plenty of good protein and complex carbs. These will keep your energy levels going strong without allowing your blood sugars to drop which will trigger a case of the sleepies. Be sure to take a high quality prenatal vitamin. I know the claims that all prenatals provide the same vitamins but I found I had better energy while on the stuarts brand prenatals.
For what it's worth the worst of the exhaustion will wear off within a week or two of 12 weeks gestation. Then you should have plenty of energy until around 35 weeks or so.

The best way to boost your energy naturally is through a couple of different things 1.Exercise-That's a No Brainer 2.Eat the right kind of foods before heavy activity-Carb heavy things like pastas and breads, also a no brainer 3.Supplements-The best natural supplement for energy is B12 vitamins, also ginseng and ginko will help with this too 4.Sleep Aids-I know this sounds unconventional, but nothing gives you more energy than a good nights sleep, and for a lot of people taking a sleep aid when there's no diagnosed sleep disorder(ambien)is to risky because there is a chance of dependance, but dependance or not boy do you feel awake and rested after 8 hours with one of those things. It's certainly not necessary though, a natural supplement to help you sleep better and feel more rested is melatonin, those work pretty well and are non-habit forming

I am not sure if this will relate to you but, I know my energy level and the sleepy shut eye I was having stopped. I was taking a handfull of vitamins and herbs daily. Everytime I ate lunch, and NO not gourging myself. Light lunch, get back to my desk and in about 15 to 30 minutes start nodding out so sleepy I could hardly stay awake. Sometimes I did nod out. Well I jump up and start finding something to do to keep awake. I stopped taking all vitamins and herbs, and noticed within 4-5 days that I was not having that sleepyness after lunch. I know you have to be on the prenatal vitamins for the sake of the Baby, but I do know that we dont always need all of the vitamins in the pills. Each of us is different, and require different combinations. I was thinking I was borderline Diabetic or hypoglycemic or something. I feel so much better now, and I get my vitamins from the foods I eat. Veggies, lots of chock full of good stuff salads with lighter salad dressings. Cut the sugar back to little or none. And get plenty of protein in my meats. Potassium is important, get enough of that. Except I won't give up chocolate. This change made a huge difference in me and my energy level. Your body could be lacking something too. You are working hard, so maybe getting more energy from better nutrition will help.
