president. There hasn't been a word about that on the west coast by the media. Do they think Vermont is just a speck on the us landscape?

No, there is more going on than meets the eye. The dems are playing a very good game of tactical advantage...they would gain nothing by empeachment, for the time is running short of this bunch of lunatics. AND, considering that there has never been a successful empeachment, I think they are wise. They are keeping a close lid on the money, and that is where real control is. Bush is now asking instead of demanding...and hopefully, he will not get what he asks for. Love and peace, Goldwing

Big deal. They are just trying to emulate Berkeley California. Their junior U.S. Senator is a Socialist who hides under the banner of being an independent candidate for office. He's pulled the same act in local office and in the House of Representatives. I'll only worry when the House Judicary Committee meets to consider articles of impeachment and has the entire House of Represenatives vote on those articles. But, they will need 218 "Aye" votes on that bill.
As for the west coast ignoring this story, that's fair play as well. Most of the NY-based media think if one goes west of the mall in Paramus New Jersey one falls off the edge of the earth. In the West, Vermont is a speck on the map. I live in a county in Nevada which is the same size as Massachusetts and larger than New Jersey. And I live in a medium sized county.

No, but it wouldn't surprise me as most of the newspapers out here are owned by Republicans. Too bad. I mean originally newspapers and radio media were called the 4th Estate; The watchdogs of Government; today they are more like the lapdogs of Government. But, I for one, am all for impeaching the President and then indicting him for misfeasance of office. Not malfeasance, but misfeasance. If you look the two words up in the dictionary you will see why I chose that word.

I do not.

There is a HUGE movement to get rid of the President ... but it will take some major event/discovery before it will get mentioned in the Congress.

By-and-large, nobody wants to look as idiotic as the Republicans did when they impeached President Clinton.

That is, if they decide to do it, it will pretty much be a fait'acompli. That was the case with Richard Nixon who decided to resign before he was ever tried.

4 Real. Vermont also wants to secede from the union. I say, let them go and keep the President.

What if the Georgia legislature voted to support the President? Would you find that newsworthy?

The first rule of belief is that we attach more importance to events surrounding it. Ask yourself if you might be doing so in this circumstance.

Take it easy, man.
