I know a few months ago black nail polish on short nails was in style but i wonder if it still is. . and not just this moneth (b/c halloween) but after halloween. I actually never liked it before but i tried it and cut my nails short and i like it now. What do you think ? it looks stupid or goth or ok?

black is the new red.... so its in.... any dark colors are in this season, the newest color is dark blue, blues are the color of the season for polish and blue shadows as well there is also dark purple, black etc. the darker the better... go to www.opi.com and check out the russian collection.... those are the colors

I think that black nail polish is going to become a classic, especially now that there are several different companies such as Revlon, who are making different shades of black which will make it possible to find the perfect black that suits your skin tone.
I just saw Lauren Conrad from the MTV show, The Hills wearing black nail polish, and she works for Teen Vogue, so if she's wearing it, it's still definitely in.
and personally, I think it looks classy! = )

yes it is still in. i wear black nail polish all the time. it doesnt look stupid or goth! its very pretty and glamourous.

It's always been too Goth for me. Right now you can get away with it, but after Halloween do something brighter. No use looking like you smashed your fingers 12 times.

black nails are totally awesome. they can match with basically anything you wear plus anyone can wear it.

It looks very GOTH...very dark and unattractive. Definitely go for a pink or red or something....NO black.
