HI! On friday I burnt my leg with a clothing iron. It didn't hurt, and I was shocked to see hours later that it had blistered over. I thought nothing of it until it accidentally popped and drained a really gross clear fluid. The next morning, my leg was hurting, and I looked and it was beginning to get red around the burn. So I put some antibiotic cream on it, and now two days later, the redness around it has gotten a lot worse, and everything hurts my leg. Showering, walking, my pants, the bed covers. The burn itself is about four inches long and about two inches wide, and now with the redness around it, it's about 6 inches wide and about 6 inches long...I really don't want to go to the doctor unless Im about to die, is there any treatment that I can try and when should I know that I definantely need to go to have it checked out!

Sounds like you've got an infected 2nd degree burn. There is no appropriate alternative to seeing the doctor ASAP.

Hi there, I've got news for ya, thats not a 3rd degree burn if
it blistered and oozed like that. And I know you don't want to hear is but you yourself said that everything hurts it, so that means that everything is touching it, You MUST get antibiotics for this. An infected burn is bad news!!!! With the redness around the burn being 2 inches out you really have wasted all the time you can afford to. You are gonna mess around and end up with a blood infection and then you will be in a mess! And Hospitalized.
Sorry, wish there was some other way for ya!!
Hope you are better soon!

Well, if you feel that you're infected? What do you think will happen to people who are infected that don't see doctors? You're right, they die, even in the age of the internet. The doctor is the one that will get you the right antibiotics, tetanus shot, and give you instructions so that the wound heals properly. Oh, and that's not a third degree burn since its oozing and it hurts. Full thickness burns have usually lost their capillary layer so that they no longer ooze serous fluid, and their nerve cells as the skin is gone. So its actually a good sign because that area of skin can regenerate.

agua oxigenada might help but using virgin coconut oil in capsule will help healing of burns and clear the rashes.
