People told me it was wrong, so I stopped watching it. And I hadn't watched it in a few months, but I went back and watched some today.

What do I do? I'm 20 and not sure how to feel about it. I like it, but its wrong right?

First and foremost, regardless of what others may say here, there or anywhere, nobody can say whether it is wrong or right!

Until humans evolve to a point in which we physically cannot perform sexual acts in any form or when we do not derive pleasure from performing / watching etc these acts, then there will always be porn.

Porn survives and exists, like any other product that is marketed simply because there is a market for it. In fact, lets be honest here, it's a huge market. I would think all of my male friends have watched or still watch some form of pornography and I know at least half of my female friends have or do. Also worth pointing out is that many couples use pornography as an aid to their sexual relations.

The unfortunate side to pornography is the innocence that is lost for many of the young children/adults that are forced or bribed in to the industry. For them it is sad, and I do agree that there should be strict rules and regulations regarding what we can and can't see, unfortunately due to the Internet these rules and regs can't be upheld.

All that said, that doesn't exactly answer your question, however in order to come to an answer that you are happy with you must be able to view it from all angles.

You should be able to answer your question yourself, with some thought. How about you answer these questions!

What is it you feel quilty about specifically?

Are you upsetting a girlfriend? Watching it when she's asked you not to, etc.

Are you religious, if so how serious?

Are other peoples opinions being forced upon you?

My honest opinion is this. You are a young male, who, like all other young males is very inquisitive about life. In time you wil probably become less bothered about porn, perhaps not! But one thing is true, people will try and force their opinions on you, people will give you advice your whole life through, and know one truly knows right from wrong!

If you are gonna grow up doing as other people say because you are afraid to be an outcast or standing out from the crowd then so be it. You could however make a decision, know your own mind, decide for yourself whether something is acceptable or not....

At the end of the day, the only person who has to live with your decision is you!

Waste of time or not, if it wasn't for those urges your mother would not have given birth to you!

"the loss of semen is bad for your physical and mental health."

Seriously! Please tell me, are you here because you are bored or are you really that naive?

There are people on both ends of this debate. I personally purchased some (like 5) over a couple of years; however, when I moved in with my boyfriend (now husband), I threw it all away because I was unsure of how he would react. We had discussed it while dating, and he said he wasn't really into it. He never knew I had any until after we were married, and I told him about throwing it away. He laughed. And we recently went to purchase some together (the first time he ever did that, and he'll be 35 soon). When I was active in church, I went back and forth with whether or not it was okay to have. Obviously, the church says no. I don't really agree with that so much. You're 20. You're healthy. Liking porn is healthy. Have at it!

It's wrong for you to watch porn if you are going against a religious teaching. Anything that you do that conflicts with any religious teaching is absolutely 100% wrong, and you should not go against the teachings of your religion.

On the other hand, at your age, it is 100% legal for you to watch porn. So, you are not violating any civil laws.

Wrong or right depends on how you feel. There will always be people who tell you both sides, so it really depends on how you feel.
As long as you watch it alone or only with those who feel comfortable watching it with you, i.e. a girlfriend, then you are fine. If you are fine with it, that is your choice.
Just don't make a big deal out of it and people won't criticize you for watching it.

It's wrong. Think about it. Would you want your daughter to be involved in porn? Every one of those girls is someone's mother or daughter or sister.

Besides giving into sexual urges is a waste of time and the loss of semen is bad for your physical and mental health.

Yes, it is wrong. It gives you sick ideas about how men and women should interact. It promotes prostitution -- anyone (male or female) who has sex for money is a prostitute, and that's exactly what these "actors" do. It enriches the sleazeballs (many mob connected) who produce this bilge. It demeans women. It demeans men. If you watch it, it's like saying it's okay to produce this garbage, and it just isn't!

i think its not a matter of right and wrong. but check with your feeling, if you felt guilty after watching it, then its wrong. in Christianity it is not a sin, only it is not proper watching porn cause it can lead falling into sin.
