I'm not a male, so I don't understand how you guys work. However, I went to bring my husband lunch today (he was working an off duty detail) and when I walked into the bank where he was doing the off duty detail he was sitting behind a desk reading the local newspaper. After handing him his lunch, he walked behind me to walk me out to my car and I noticed he was slightly erect. Should I be concerned about something he may have been doing before I arrived? Looking at another woman? Talking to another woman? Or was he really just reading the newspaper and it just happened? Can you guys become slightly erect during the middle of day with no sort of stimulation?

Just thought that I should also add that when I asked him about it, his response was "He knew you was coming." ... Which is just totally silly. I'm just curious guys.

haha You guys are great! Some of you really had me rolling. After I reread my question (because of some of the responses) I realized I sort of sounded like the typical paranoid wife, and I'm really not! I look/chat just as much as any other wife would. I trust my husband. I was just curious. My husband and I have only been married for 7 months, and I was a virigin when we got married ... completely innocent! So yeah, I'm new to this! lol Again, thanks guys!

Don't worry about it that he can do it - That's normal .Worry about it when he can't. (Then you've got a problem - He's malfunctioning, he's getting it somewhere else, you aren't doing it for him). The penis just seems to have a brain of it's own. Just the way God made us I guess. Enjoy it (we do).

ps -Sounds like you're still learning. Don't listen to the feminists who have been hurt by male infidelity or the media. Not all men are untrustworthy and not all women are trustworthy. The guys I know look at female beauty but aren't unfaithful (to the best of my knowledge) and are dedicated to their wives and family's.
Trust is freely given until its damaged and a lack of trust will break a relationship so can I suggest you don't let distrust enter your marriage without indisputable evidence.

If you bring his lunch to him every day maybe it did know you were coming. In his subconscious he knew you were coming and although he was reading a newspaper may have been thinking about something that happened between the two of you that caused the reaction. Enjoy

Did you ever stop to think maybe he was relaxing on his lunch break, fantasizing about you.

I am a woman, althought it is dangerous, because I am a baker, and I walk in and out of the oven all day, and use industral machines, sometimes I fantasize about my husand ALL DAY LONG. And buddy if I could get ahold of him on a lunch break, he wouldnt know what hit him. If I had something that would get hard and poke out.. it would be pokin all day!!

Yaw are still honeymooning, he waited until marriage. Who would pass up a virginal, new, expermenal new lover. He wants to be home teaching you how to be his perfect lover.

Hah. And if my husband brought me lunch, id think that was hot too.

Do not worry Ms, Your husband is a normal male with uncontrollable tendency to erections...We, as men, just can't help it! I am in my fifties now and it just isn't as active as it use to be, but even I, still get a uncontrolled bone r, lol, once in a while! As for knowing that you were coming to see him, yes! He could have had erotic thoughts about you and what he would just love to do to you when he got his hands on you that night! Love your hubby, let him love you and have a fantastic, imaginative and sexy love affair every night with the one you love, your husband! Good nights to you and your hubby!

this is a typical guy story. was riding on the bus and before i know it i've got random bus erection. then of course i have to get off real quick. luckily i had a backpack with me. hold the backpack in front of me, no embarassing moments.

generally if it's cold or vibrations then the man below can give a false start.

I'm a woman but yes men can have erections at anytime of the day, poor dears. Your husband may have had his uplifting moment because you arrived and with food. How great is that!

Sure. Our pants sometimes rub just the right way, combined with being relaxed, say a lunch break for example.

That's not to say he wasn't looking at another woman though; it's not evidence one way or the other. Who cares if he was? He is human and he comes home to you.

Maybe YOU turned him on. : ) Men are weird like that! It doesn't take much for them to get excited! If it continues to happen, I'd say something to him- in a joking way (like, "Do I look that good today?!") , without making him feel bad or guilty, but just see what he says. Good luck. Besides, I doubt he's doing something naughty at the bank. : )

hahah leave it to a girl to assume cheating when her man has a stiffy. Realize it's not something we can control. Tons of guys have stories about being called to the chalkboard at school while having a stiffy. Get over yourself and your cheating assumptions it's a natural occurance, be a good wife and help him get rid of it!

Yes, guys can get erect for seemingly no reason at all. My husband gets erections in his sleep, he gets them driving in the car, watching tv, he gets them all the time. It's normal.

Plus, he was walking behind you, probably checking you out.
