Honesty is key. Tell the truth. Don't sugarcoat things. I have always believed that love does not end, it simply evolves. Your love has evolved into something different - a new respect, or fond affection perhaps? Never leave a relationship dishonestly. just explain that you have changed. It's human - and it's okay. Just be kind to the person you want to break up with. Eventually, they will appreciate you more for taking the high road. P.S. It's going to be painful no matter what.

No matter what she/he is going to be hurt. Everyone hates being rejected. The best way to go about it is to be as honest as possible w/o being mean. Don't be brutally honest, i.e. if you think she smells funny, don't tell her that. I think you get the picture. I hope this helps.

say, eventhough the person is very special.
you just have this gut feeling if you keep it going it will end up terrible, and you wwant to prevent that from happening by ending it right now
say that the person is still great, and you want to be friends,but you'll understand if they don't want to.
just tell them it's not working out like you thought it would

I dont think its possible, but its just something you have to do...
Say that its unfair to both of you if you didnt say anything, coz she/he will find someone who loves them more then you could... And its unfair to keep it going if nothings really there...
Say you will always be there as a friend or something

aww... it sucks soo bad when that happens, but when its time its time, but if you truly loved him/her, make sure yoiu remain friend because that is what really important, of course they will be mad/sad at first, but they wil move on when the time is right for them, dont push it, let them be, tell them, you love them, and your sorry but you just dont feel the way you used to!!
