The switch that opens & closes the sunroof is cracked. I checked the fuses. They look fine.

Yes the switch can be replaced. If your not good with cars, then find a ASE certified shop that is not a dealer and get them to fix it for you.

take the panel off and look in at the switch once you have access. the wire is prolly just disconnected. get the wire reattached and tape it up. as long as you reconnect the circuit it should work. all the switch does is connect and disconnect the circuit, so if its disconnected somewhere else its like the switch being off. just reattach any loose looking wires and see if its working before you tape it up

the switch is cracked hmmmmmmm I wonder if that could be a clue. Just a guess.
