Faith is the antithesis of reason, which is why Boethius joined them. Did Mother Theresa loose touch with her savior because her "reason" knocked him out of contention? Faith is the epistemology to accept what reason can neither prove nor disprove--unless you lack faith, in which case reason may, as it did for me, prove why god, if he exists (which I don't believe) did not create existence because he could not. Start by searching your reasons for desiring faith over reason.

Maybe its not exactly searching thats required. You can always find a few certainties, no matter how obscure, and these can be built on. If you can keep building on it then eventually you'll reach a point where you realize that you're already taking things on faith again. The same way you don't realize you're humming till the music gets quiet.
If you mean faith as in religion, the same can apply, but there are also enough wonderous things around to cause at least a little chink in a sceptics armour.

I don't mean to sound as if I am some old man sitting on top of a mountain, but...
I've found, that the best place to regain your faith, is in yourself. Don't try to find your faith by emphasizing any one event and trying to prove something to yourself. Find your truth, whatever makes you yourself, whatever makes you comfortable being alive. Know that there is no straightforward answer without deep thought, but do not shun your instincts. True faith in whatever it might be you seek will be tested, but secure enough to stir within you as to never go missing.

First, don't panic. Your faith may not be missing, but sleeping. Maybe you just need a break from pressures of others. Religion and spirituality are entirely personal issues. Relax and try to evaluate life through your ethical and philosophical eyes. If FAITH was strong to begin with, it should return to you when you need it. If not, you can expose yourself to a number of ideas by reading the Holy writings of different religions or well written books about them. I found a book today called "A History of God: The 4,000-Year Quest of Judaism, Christianity and Islam" by Karen Armstrong. The book was recommended by a trusted friend as very readable and interesting. She knows I am an Agnostic who does believe in God.

Being a convinced Atheist , my faith resides in 46 years of learning and appreciating great and caring people who have
enriched and beautified my life far more than I can even begin to appreciate. Some even recently here on Y/A.
Many faiths / nationalities / ethnicities.... my Thanks
So my faith is not only deep within me. it's all around me as well
it's tangible, I can feel it...touch it , smell it.....!
It cannot possibly go missing unless I'd lose myself.
If I seem to be searching,... you're wrong........I'm just adding !

I think when faith is missing in ones life, it may be time to look deeper within ones self,to find what has gone awry in the missing of the faith.

I think the faith is believe in the things as they are. If somethings wrong then its gonna be allright. Let us flow with the universe and try to understand it. Theres no way if you resist. Everything changes for evolution. Sometimes things still ok and other times not. Just quiet, keep in silence. Learn and live.

When my Faith went missing and I almost hit bottom, I turned within, searched my heart and found It in my soul. I found that I had lost It because I quit believing.
