Yes, many times, many types of animals. The latest ones were 3 cats we picked up from the Vet after surgery and our dog going to the Vet for a bath!

Every month for several years, we've had one or two cats that have to go to the veterinarian for shots for various reasons. Also, each of our cats had to be neutered (one spayed).
We had a Lhasa apso puppy that went for rides, but not as many as the chocolate poodle we had years before did, when my father was alive. Buffy went with us on vacations and loved rides through the country. We would shout, "Cows! Cows, Buffy!" and she would stand up on her little stubby hindlegs, front paws on the window ledge, and happily bark at the cows, even when there were no cows! Horses would do~or simply any field.
Over the years, we have had many pets riding in many cars~cats and dogs.

I've been in the car with pets I've had which include dog and cat. I've also been on a hayride where they took pigs and goats with you. With fish, 'cause part of my family fishes... er, actually, that's probably not an animal lol..

My dogs, Bootsie and Tia, after them Kuddles, and after her Dallas and then Tessa Marie. All great dogs.
While I had Bootsie and Tia I babysat a friends baby raccoon named Rocco (his mother was killed in the street in front of her house) for the weekend and that cured me of wanting to save a wild animal.

When I had my dogs, I always took them in the car with me....a 90 pound Husky-Shepherd, a 60 pound Husky-Border Collie, a 60 pound Siberian Husky (runt of the litter, don't you know), and a 50 pound Coonhound-Shepherd. Believe me, that was one crowded car.
