Go back to the place you bought the money order (or call) and ask for a copy of the endorsement by the person who cashed it. I'd then scan it in, and send the image to the person in question to give you more leverage in getting your item.

Since a money order is very like a cheque, see if you can get the bank to trace who cashed it. If it's the person named, then report the person - if it's on ebay, then report it on their negative sellers list. If they have cashed it, and not given you your item, you can also have them charged with theft. A bit drastic, but doable. If it wasn't cashed by the person on the money order, then the bank needs to find out who did cash it, and have the person charged with fraud. If it was cashed at a "Money Mart" type place, then things may be a bit more difficult, but again, if it wasn't the person named on the MO, then you can have the cheque cashing place charged with negligence for not making sure the person was who was named on the money order.

Only the person named on the money order should be able to cash it, so see if you can get some more answers, and if the seller's cashed it, get your stuff!

More information is needed? Who or where was the purchase made? Who signed off on the money order and can they send you a copy of the cashed money order? If you find out who cashed it maybe it would be easier
