my ex.... seriously now survival gear in Alaska when its 40 below you best have what u need when you need it sleeping bag spare gloves boots belts hoses anti freeze chocolate tow rope spare jack hat over pants spare parka tools blanket to put on ground if you have to crawl under the truck flash light its dark most winter flares can of gas spare ice scraper basically every thing but the kitchen sink

I dont have a trunk, but I have a truck with a built in ice cooler in the bed!
So BEER is my answer. Or an occasional body

I'm in the process of moving, so I've got all manner of stuff. Normally I just carry emergency items - flares, tools, jumper cables, fluids (windshield washer, etc). The more weight you carry around, the less gas mileage you get.
