isn't it hilarious that our so called soul mates are always perfect people obviously because we see ourselves as perfect too? there are no soul mates and nobody's perfect. thanks for the laugh but I thought someone might have figure the prank from the first question with the married soulmate.

It's funny--the first twenty years of my adult life, the world got along very nicely without anyone talking about soulmates. How did we ever survive?

Answers may be given for points, while others may think that the question is genuine.
While I will agree with you that there are no perfect people out there, I do have to disagree with one aspect of your statement. While not everybody will find his/her soul mate, I would have to say that there is such a thing. Proof enough for me would be those who remain married and committed to each other for many years. My grandparents were married 72 years, parents 59 and myself 16 so far.
Some people I suspect confuse lust for love in the beginning and therefore throw the term soul mate around loosely. This I would think would tend to make one of these people think that there isn't such a thing as soul mates, when or if they should ever break up. The opposite belief I think would include those that are truly in a great long lasting relationship. Just my opinion.

Well, you know, women will say or do anything. How many of them on here say dumb stuff like, "Should ah marry mah b/f when he gits outta prison?" and " Why does my hubby still pick his toes. I thought I could change him! I'm so unhappy!"

So your 'joke' didn't work well without the inflection of spoken English. I'm not even sure you were kidding. You're a woman.

LOL

I knew it, but I like to write, and give my opinions.

As you know, I don’t believe in soul mates either. But I do have my best friend and lover living with me: my wife. And guess what, we don’t care about soul mate things, we just care about each other, have fun, have lots of sex, and make lots of money. And we are doing just fine up to now.

Soulmates are for the dead, the living deal with
humans only, so let's stick with the living.
