Is the car turning over and just not starting? Is the car completely dead? You could be looking at anything from a battery to a fuel pump relay to a computer.

Turn the key to the run position, don't start the car. Make sure the radio, heater, and anything that makes noise is off. Listen for the fuel pump. It only runs for a few seconds. It does this because its bypassing the oil pressure switch to allow the car to start. Sometimes you need a friend to turn the key while you take the gas cap off and listen for the pump from there. If its working, you'll hear it. It only runs for a few seconds. You could have a bad connection when you installed your new pump. If you didn't replace the little sock filter on the fuel inlet in the tank, the pump is probably bad again. There's a little hard plastic disc impeller in the pump, and if there's any dirt in the tank, it will destroy the disc is a very short time. You can press the schoedor valve on the fuel rail and see if there's any pressure there. If there is check for spark. I'd guess its a fuel problem.

Need more info. If it doesn't crank, you will have to check for a theft problem or battery/starter problem. If it cranks but doesn't start you will have to check for codes/good data, spark to the spark plugs, and for fuel pressure. Then go from there.

That ticking noise and no oil pressure tells me the engine is bad. I know you dont want to hear this Its not going to be an easy fix. The oil pressure switch will NOT keep the engine from running.
