ok heres my problem i'm getting up there on the cool stuff i'm getting alot more friends that are cool. boys that are an t the top are asking me out and stuff like that. it just started this year. last year i was in 6th grade and i had like no friends that were guys now i have like a lot. but now i'm like leaving out ny old friends and like not talking or spending as much time with them as i used to. none of them are like you know cool or anything. i don't want to like stpo spending time with them because they were there when i had like nothing. so now my new friends don't like that i hang out with them at all and my old friends don't like that i have not. so what do i do? is there a way that i can keep my old friend and my new ones? should i dump my old ones to me in? should i dump my coolness for my old friends? i'm not smart enough to handle this. and i don't have the time so thats why i asked you. so can you help?

you have no idea what my school is like they have not dropped any one from any thing they do their not really mean when you are not like an out cast as you said. i'm stuck in the game. things won't change. and if i fall off its all on me. i just wish someone knew what i mean.

Crystal! First and foremost dpn't allow others to dictate your life to you. Of course you don't forget your old friends! You keep as many friends as you can make.

Remember how things were last year when none of the Cool people would have nothing to do with you. Do you remember that? the friends you have added now want to be your friends, why? Did you suddenly change? What is it that makes you OK this year but not last year? The worst thing that you could do is dump all your old friends just because the cool kids don't like them and your pressured to quit seeing them. You have to think for yourself. Who do you think will be there for you if you became uncool for some reason, like you wouldn't do something the cool kids wanted you to do? Never burn your bridges behind you, or simpler don't dump friends to please someone else. It's your life and you should live it your way. No one has a right to tell you who you should like because that is controlling you, not being a friend. I know because I did this and ended up with no friends.

when i was in school i was in the crowd that were what you'd call the outcasts even if i was suddenly miss popular i don't think i'd abandon my old friends. they were there for me when i wasn't cool they didn't care they liked me as i am. the cool kids are so false if something happened they'd drop you like a hot potato where as your uncool friends would probably stick with you through thick and thin
