Why do you use the quotation marks? The data speaks for itself and the researchers who have compiled the data are simply passing it along. Global warming is a fact. The connection between CO2 and the greenhouse effect is also a fact. Dude, you are about 10 years behind the research. Guess what else? The Earth is round. Humans evolved from other animals. There is no Tooth Fairy.

There does not seem to be any argument that global warming IS happening. The debate is about the cause.....normal global fluctuations -vs- strictly man made causes. Personal what I think makes the most sense is this.......normal fluctuations in the weather patterns of the earth COMBINED with the increasing influences of man on the planet. Did man cause global warming? No. Could the activities of man be accelerating or intensifying the effects of global warming? Strong possibility.

Such disasters have been predicted to be "imminent" for the last 20 years, you know.

Who cares? Is that what you base your beliefs on? In that case, you shouldn't listen to Rush or Hannity because they make a lot of money. Instead, listen to the homeless guy down on the corner.
