Heres how to maybe fix your issues before you have to reinstall everything , 1st run a disk clean up, then defragment your hard drive ,after you do that go to start then to computer now right click your hard drive and choose properties then chose tools then choose check now and check both boxes, now restart your computer and let the disk check do its thing,it may take awhile but if there is anything wrong it will fix it and it may save you from having to do a complete reinstall.

Rebooting (restarting your computer) will seldom fix anything permanantly.

To access Safe Mode, reboot then repeatedly press the F8 key at the first screen. The screen will look strange, but don't panic. This is normal in Safe Mode.

When finished, reboot once again to return to normal mode.

safe mode allows for ur computer to reboot its self while its checking for errors.

rebooting simply means turning it off and turning it back on. Anything not saved can be lost.
