im writing an essay on the past and present of LEGO. since i am including legoland, i would appreciate it if someone could explain, with detail, what exactly legoland is since i have never been there.

It is a theme park made entirely out of LEGOS. With rides there, Like the AquaZone Wave Racers, BIONICLE Blaster, Coast Cruise, Coastersaurus, The Dragon, FairyTale Brook, Flight Squardron, Kid Power Towers, Knight's Tournament, LEGO Racers 4-D, LEGOLAND Express, Royal Joust, Safari Trek, Skipper School, Sky Cruiser, Sky Patrol, Technic test track, Volvo Driving School and Volvo Junior Driving School.
