Greenspan called him a spendthrift with little fiscal discipline and Fox thought he was overly cocky and not the best choice to be president. Is this just the beginning of books critical of Bush now that he is about to leave office?

Still, Vicente was always considered to be a close friend and ally by Bush. Greenspan considers himself to be a libertarian and refers to Bush as a liberal when it comes to spending.

I love Bushites response to this question. They just throw one person after another under the train with no qualification at all. "Him? You're kidding me" "He's dull!" "Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?"

A year ago Greenspan was one of the boys, and now he's a nobody, because he dissed President loonie-tunes. If each and every one of Bush's detractors is instantly dismissed with a "Oh puleease!"... two things happen. One, the Bush supporter loses all credibility because he/she refuses to provide a rational defence. Second the charges against Bush are seen as increasingly legitimate.

And yes, we'll see more of this from Bush insiders and acquaintances. And once He leaves office, I suspect we'll see much more written about "the real George Bush". We'll certainly see that he's a popular object of scorn and contempt by the people who know him.

He's a shallow shell of a man, and that's definately not lost on those who have known him up close and personal.

Since Fox has been so critical of our immigration polices, meaning we don't let enough of his citizens in and support them while his country has a policy of shooting anybody that comes across his border from Guatemala, I don't think I have any reason to listen to his observations about this country. Add to that, many companies are leaving Mexico due to the graft and bribery needed to operate there. Something Fox has done nothing about.

Your digging deep into a barrel of s*** to find someone like Fox to augment you hatred for Bush.

Now Greenspan was right on. Bush has spent more that any president on worthless social programs. Even worse than Johnson. Something I never thought I would see.

To care what Fox says is absurd. And frankly surprising coming from you.

This isn't the beginning, just a continuation. There have been books critical of Bush by almost everyone who's left his administration, including Paul O'Neill and Richard Clarke.

We Have To Be Deaf and Blind to not see and hear the arrogance of whom we have at the White House right now.

-(Is he "thee World's President" to do whatever he feels and wants with us, Americans, and with other nations around the world? -I-Think-Not. I know so. He vetoed and stop laws benefiting the poor, children and the elderly for heaven sakes! Only his class triumphs. Be realistic and see and hear what is happening to our so loved country, and to his people.)-

Vincente Fox wasn't the brightest political star, either. During his tenure, corruption in the Mexican Government and the power of organized crime in Mexico both increased.
