To me its cold at 65, but that is just me, I think everyone is different.

Well, here in Southern California it's often cool in the morning but relatively warm in the afternoon, so I wear shorts over a pretty large temperature range, all in the course of a day. This morning it was about 48 and I put shorts on, but I knew it was going to be 75 later. If the sun is shining and there's no wind, it's not really all that cold, even if it's below 60.

By the way "cut off temperature" is a good pun, I like it.

for me probally about 60-65 The cold is no problem for me and i dont mind my legs getting cold, my arms are a nother story.
Pretty much whater temp makes you shiver ,have goosebumps or just plain uncomfortable would be the point to wear pants. never wear shorts in below like 60 or 55 degrees it is NOT FUN

For me the coolest i would wear shorts is 72 but that is at the end of summer when you are used to the weather being hot and humid when spring is ending and it is becoming warm i would probably wear shorts when it is like 68

For me it's about 50 and up, but it just depends on if you like to be cold and what you feel the most comfortable in.

I hate wearing pants when I dont have to...so its gotta be coooold out for me to start wearing pants. If ur like me I'd say around Low 50's or High 40's.

anything lower then 74 degrees is too cold for shorts here in Florida

in minnesota you see people in shorts when its in the 40's... especially in march...40 degrees in march feels like a heat wave
