i need a device or something name one...cuz i wanna do a science fair project on seeing how much germs go on a single piece of food when its droped on the floor for 5 seconds, because you know the 5 second rule, if u drop food n pic it up in less than 5 seconds its safe to eat....does anyone know a way i can determine how much germs go on it? and if u know something tell me wats it called how much it is also

It's a good project. Learn how to collect a sample and look at it under a microscope. Look for meaningful but common bacteria like E. Coli and learn how to recognize them. First get samples from the floor to see how many bacteria are there. This study has been done, so it obviously can be done. Try different kinds of foods, hard/dry like M&M's, and soft/damp like bread.
