What is going on with Degrassi TNG?

I dont have Noggin in my area and dont have cable for that much. But They just started showing Degrassi in my area. Just getting hooked liked I did when they first showed it. Here is my thing....what happened when Emma went to find her birth father? And what happen to the actress who was played by Christina Schmidt? Did her charactor die or was she let go from the series?

Okay, I just have to say, I LOVE DEGRASSI. okay. I haven't really watched that much of the new season, I'm so upset to say. I only watched a little bit of the premiere. I know that Darcy got raped! She was at a party, put her drink down, the rapist spiked her drink, she drank it, and then he raped her. At first she thought it was... oh gawd... whats his name? whatever, she thought it was her bf or whatever, but it turned out to not be. It's still unknown who the rapist is though. Manny tried out for an acting company, they told her she needed "work" she wanted plastic surgery her parents found out and her dad called her a ****. sorry... im gunna try to watch more closely on friday night when the next one comes out. you can go on "the-n.com" to be kept updated.

The character played by Christina Schmidt, Teri, was written out. She had an abusive boyfriend who pushed her during a fight, and she fell and hit her head on a rock. I believe she lived, but decided to switch schools (and thus exit the series).

I never saw the episode with Emma's birth father.

Teri was written out after her coma caused by the abusive Rick, Emma's dad has mental problems from his accident caused by his drug addiction. I love Degrassi too.

farther figure season 3 this is wat happend Emma is sitting on a tree, when Spike yells "it's time". Emma gets everything ready for the home birth when she's told it's just a drill. Emma expresses frustration at all the drills she's been through all summer, as well as moving to the basement so the baby can have her room.
At school, Paige hugs Spinner, and says how happy she is to spend this school year with him. She goes to her locker and is not happy with it. The bell rings.
In homeroom the teacher takes attendance and says "Emma Simpson". Emma corrects her, and gets mad that people would assume that she became a Simpson when she became his step-daughter. She says that even Spike didn't change her name. "Hello, feminism".
After class, Spinner tries to get Hazel to change lockers with Paige, as his anniversary gift to her. Hazel is not impressed, and tells him to buy her a pony.
In the library, Emma is looking at an old yearbook. Ashley and Craig look on, and it shows the picture of Shane McKay. They press her on who that is, after Craig makes a comment about Joey with hair and Ashley toys with the idea of having Spike-hair next. Emma finally confesses he's her birth dad, and she only met him once. A flashback of Shane as a doctor and him arguing with Spike.
At home, Snake is painting the baby room, and singing. Emma asks him if he changed her name at school. He says the new secretary "doesn't know you're my daughter". Emma corrects him that she's his step-daughter, and says "I have a dad and he's not here". Spike asks "Shane?" Emma asks about getting to meet him and see who he is. Spike says he hasn't been in her life for over a decade, and she's not going to meet him. Emma storms off. Snake reminds Spike that she has to tell her the truth sometime. Spike looks scared and sarcastically replies "piece of cake".
At the shower, there's packages saying "welcome Jack" and Caitlin is videotaping Spike showing off her "belly". The baby is a boy they will name Jack, and Spike talks about her plans to have a home birth. One of the twins is shocked, saying "a home birth with no epidural?" Liz says she'll just breathe through the pain. Spike says she's not worried, as Liz is the best midwife in Canada. The twin says she's braver than she would be. Caitlin asks Emma how she is. Emma just says "fine" and Caitlin presses. Emma asks her about Shane, but Caitlin says that if Spike won't tell her anything, then she can't either. She apologizes. Then she meets Sydney. They make the connection that they both have with Joey; old girlfriend, new girlfriend. Caitlin has just moved back to town, so she says "we'll see what happens".
Emma has trouble sleeping, then gets up and searches on her computer. She finds an address for Dr Shane McKay. She writes it down.
Spinner talks to JT about switching lockers for Paige, and they talk about what kind of women they will be surrounded by. While Emma tells Sean of her discovery. She wants to skip class and go find him, but he says no; he'll go with her on the weekend. Emma then asks Craig what he's doing. He says he's going to class, and Emma asks if he really wants to go. Craig asks "instead of_" and Emma tells him she wants to go meet Shane. Craig asks why him, and she says she thought he'd understand, after having lost his dad.
Emma and Craig go to the doctor's office. Emma is nervous, wondering if he has a wife and other kids. She knocks, and a black doctor answers. He introduces himself as "Dr McKay" and asks how he can help.
Spinner covers Paige's eyes and takes her around. He shows her the locker, and she says she doesn't really like it, but it was sweet of him to try. Then she sees Jimmy's locker and says that's the one she wants.
Emma is frustrated, and she and Craig sneak a look at Snake's alumni list. They find Shane's address; it's in Stouffville. They take the train there. A nurse asks what they're here for, and Emma says who they are to see. She asks if they have an appointment. They say no, and she asks them to wait there. Craig sees Shane with a room number and encourages her to just go. She does. She sees it as a patient room, and a man walking back and forth working on something. He sees her and asks who she is. She says she is looking for Shane McKay. He answers, in a twisted speech "what can I do for you? I'm Shane McKay". Emma looks shocked.
Emma tells Shane she thought he was a doctor, not a patient. She says "this was a mistake" and backs out of the room. Shane tells her to wait, and comments that her hair is pretty like Emma's. Emma screams. Shane gets his picture of Emma, which was when she was 3. He says she doesn't love him because she never comes to see him. Emma says "maybe she couldn't find you until now". Then she tells him she is Emma. He says no; she can't be; she's little. Until he looks closer. Emma is crying, and Shane hugs her, and says "Daddy's here".
At school, Spinner asks Jimmy for his locker. Jimmy asks if he needs it for him or for Paige. Spinner says he needs it. Jimmy says "what you need is a backbone". He makes him admit he has none. Jimmy tells him he must admit it in front of the class, and he can have the locker.
The nurse comes into the room, and asks Emma who she is, and that Shane needs special routines. Emma tells her who she is, and the nurse says he can't have surprises, and now it's time to go. Shane yells that no; she's staying. The nurse gets him to sit down and gets him with his knitting. Emma leaves her address and promises to write, and Craig takes a picture. Outside, Emma screams at how mad she is at her mom; she hates her, she's evil, she wishes she wasn't her mom. Craig says "let's just go home". They go to the station and find out that the next train doesn't come until the next day.
Joey yells at them for doing this and for him having to drive an hour to get there. He asks what's in Stoufville, and Emma says "my dad".
At home, Spike stands up and tells Emma she has a lot of explaining to do. Emma won't talk. Spike yells "start talking right now!" Emma tells her she lied, and that she found Shane. She asks how she could put him in that "prison". Spike says his parents did that. Emma asks why she let them and she said "I was 16!" She feels a pull, and Snake helps her down; false alarm. Snake tries to get Emma to sit down and work this out, Emma tells him he's not her dad, and runs downstairs crying.
In class, Spinner offers to go up and do a problem. Instead, he tells the class that he has no backbone and that his girlfriend controls his life. Jimmy says he's earned the locker, and Paige looks mad.
At home, Spike is sitting on the couch knitting, and the doorbell rings. She opens it, and there's Shane.
At school, Snake tracks down Emma. He tells her that he understands, and about how Shane wanted to be a part of her life, but his family wouldn't let him. He explains how Shane took acid, and that was what landed him where he was now. He gives her a quarter and tells her to call her mom.
At home, Shane is looking at the wedding picture, and telling Spike it should have been him. She tries to distract him by telling him she has a checkup at the doctor's. Shane grabs the phone and won't let her use it. Meanwhile Emma tries to call and the line is busy.
Paige yells at Spinner for humiliating her, and they argue back and forth. He tells her what the deal was, and how he feels he can't do anything right with her.
Shane is still yelling and throwing things around. Spike falls down, and goes into labor. Emma gets home and tells Shane that if he hurts her, she'll never speak to him again. She then remembers the knitting, and distracts him with it. Then she calls the school.
In the office, Mr Raditch reminds Joey of his class-skipping days, while the secretary tells him to get Mr Simpson. Joey finds him with his insect club. He is talking about his insects, when Joey comes. Then Mr. Simpson, excited about the baby, freaks out, hugs Liberty, and runs out.
Mr Raditch tells Spinner that he isn't allowed to switch lockers without his permission. Then Paige sits down with him. She thanks him for trying. Spinner assumes she hates him because he's broke, failed English, and can't get her a better anniversary present. She reminds him she doesn't hate him and they kiss.
At home, Liz checks the baby's heartbeat and stuff and says he's fine. Spike is in pain. She apologizes to Emma for how she found out about Shane. Emma tells her it's not important now. Snake comes rushing in, and finds Shane there.
Later, outside, Emma sits with Shane as his handi-transit comes to get him. He fixed the hat Spike was knitting, and he says "your mom don't knit so good". The nurse tells him it's time to go. Emma gives him the picture Craig took and they say goodbye. Upstairs, Snake and Spike are fussing over newly born baby boy Jack. Snake introduces him to Emma, and Liz tells her to get in there for a picture. Emma tells Jack he looks just like "our dad". They all smile.
and then wat happend 2 terri The episode starts with Paige telling Hazel,Jimmy and Spinner about her parents lending her the van for the weekend and they can all go to the park.Terri comes in and is sad cause she doesn't have anyone to go with.Later while they're in Drama class Terri is partnered with Rick her ex-boyfriend.They do a trust game where Terri has to fall back into Rick's arms.At first she doesn't trust him but the closes her eyes and falls back and he catches her.

Then after class they talk about Drama then Rick starts apologizing for what he did to Terri but then she tells him she'll see him in bio and leaves.Ellie and Marco are talking and are planning to go to an Indian movie which Ashley says she should do things with Sean cause change isnt always bad.Then Sean visits Ellie at her co-op job and invites her to Elimination Round 3 an action franchise.She remembers about her plans with Marco but accepts anyway.

Then Spin,Paige,Jimmy and Hazel are eating at the dot when Terri comes in with Rick all of them can't believe their eyes then Rick and Terri go have something to drink.They decide to bring rick along for the ride.Ellie and Marco go to the movies where Jay looks at him weird then him and Alex go buy popcorn.Sean is disappointed that Marco is there but just wants to get seats.Everyone arrives at the park where Terri and Rick talk.Then Sean is at the movies and looks at Marco who is laughing at the movie,Sean goes to eat popcorn but Marcos hand is there and quickly pulls it away.

Back at the park Paige tries to convince Terri to get away from Rick then she calls him a psycho and he storms into the woods.Terri then tells Paige she's sick of her telling her what to do and follows Rick.There Rick is furious and he and Terri talk and kiss then she wants to go backbut he says they should walk then after an argument he grabs her arms and pushes her and she hits her head on a rock.Paige is worried and goes with Spinner to find Terri there Rick runs away and they find Terri and call an ambulance.

At school everyone finds out about Terri and send her a get well card.Sean sees Ellie sitting with Marco and tries to get Marco out of there so he and Ellie can talk she gets mad and leaves.At the hospital they see Terri and her dad.He says there is a blood clot and they have to do surgery then he finds out they knew Rick was abusive and tells them off and leaves to tend for Terri.Paige leaves cring then they start making out and Spinner stops her saying she jsut doing that caus eof Terri and she gets mad and he goes to the dot and she leaves.

The next day Spin sees Rick in the car and tells him to get out of here and almost punches him but Paige stops him.Rick's mom comes out and they leave.Spin then rushes out and he and Paige start crying.Ellie tells marco she's dumping Sean but he saya Sean can be great for her.She then finds Sean and tells him she's sorry and they kiss.Spin and Paige visit Terri and her dad says he was out of line and that they are good friends they look at her in the bed and the episode ends.
