i hate how some ppl root for the yankees just because of how many rings they got

YANKEES!
The players are outwardly arrogant, or so it appears, especially considering their post season record over the last 7 years & the fact that they own the WORST LOSS/CHOKE IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS.
But the FANS & NY media are THE ABSOLUTE WORST & most biased in the sports world.
A perfect example being GAME 2 of the 2007ALDS where the NY media and alot of the fans actually tried to make an argument that the bugs that infested the field (first during the INDIANS top of the inning, remember) were possibly done so by the INDIANS organization!!! Not even entertaining the thought that obviously the INDIANS pitcher/hitters were more focused on playing the game and NOT that the YANK-MEES choked AGAIN!!!!
Not to mention the NY media & that douche Rudy Guliani vilifing Pedro Martinez for throwing Don Zimmer to the ground after he attacked him on the field in 2003!!!
The curse has been reversed and now the YANKEES will not win another world series until 2086!!!

let see I went a Red Sox-D'backs game here in Phoenix and the one chant that every one in the stands agreed on was Yankees SUX. That being said and a hatred on Yankees not quite genetically bred in (traitor father who I never talk to is a Yankees fan) but still have a deep hatred of Yankees. I dislike the Mets but not with the same deep hatred. Only scarring from the 1986 Series...and not vinager poured into a thousand cuts from the Yankees.

I hate the Yankees more, because people keep wanting to throw the fact that the franchise has 26 world series titles in everyone's face, failing to mention that the CURRENT Yankees team hasn't done much of anything. Plus, when the Yanks won most of those titles, most of the people on the Yanks weren't even born!

The Yankees.
I tend to have "good old fashioned hate" for the "empires" in sports. The Yankees have 26? championships. It's difficult to feel sorry for them because of that. Also, they have the highest payroll in MLB, and I tend to root for the low payroll teams.

I don't really hate either team but, in general, I don't like Yankee fans. They are a very arrogant bunch whereas Met fans are more humble.

i don't care at all. Sports are monotonus.
I don't like the name yankees though. Mets sounds cooler.
