perhaps the biggest conspiracies are that some things are only conspiracy theories
and perhaps one is already a victim of the greatest conspiracies if one thinks knowing something is only a waste of time
for that would mean that those who think they own your time are already having you controlled

They are not a waste of time (unless of course they are WAY out there in Left field).

Some conspiracy theories are just that, a theory to be proven or disproved.

They are proven fact when solid undeniable facts rise to the surface. (or so they would appear eh? (we never really know in politics & government))

No. They are wonderful exercises in creative thinking. The more plausible you can make a conspiracy theory, the better.

RFK masterminded the assassination of his own brother. He did this so that his brother's legacy would live on (and people wouldn't look into his extramarital activities) and to increase his own chances of being elected as President.
Unfortunately, he didn't count on being shot himself.

Conspiracy theories are useful. They divert the idiot public into childish fantasies.
So, meanwhile, people like me who have real power can get on with ruling the world without interruption or criticism from the voters.

I'm into them but some are just stupid like the 9/11 one. The government cant be that corrupt. I do belive in the theory that Kurt Cobain was murderd.

I like the paranoid people on here--they break up the day...I never get tired of hearing how Bush and Osama are actually cousins, how no plane hit the pentagon (I'm kinda fuzzy on where the people from that flight went though), or how shaped charges brought down the WTC and not the planes we saw fly into them.
