Depending on where you are on the strip, a cab will cost about $25. There are several versions of "the airporter" that cost about $12 per person each way. They had return trips for just a few $'s extra, round trip total like $15. These airporters take a bit longer but get you there in a reasonable amount of time for the savings.

Fairly cheap. But a shuttle van is cheaper. If you go out of the baggage claim area, through the extreme left hand door, there will be a small kiosk against the wall & the shuttles pick up there. If you want, you can get a return ticket for a shuttle, calling for a shuttle on your last day, when you are ready.

I think a taxi will be $10+ each way and the shuttle $15 for the round trip.

These prices also depend where you're staying - the MGM would be cheaper than the Stratosphere or course.

This site covers ALL of the public transportation in LV, maybe you can find a less expensive alternative.

If you travel light, the city bus could cost you as little as $1.25

You can use the LVA site above or, this will take you directly to the LV Taxi Authority site, they have a chart that will show the cost from McCarran to strip hotels.

About 20 bucks without tip... We were just there in October. It ran us about 20 bucks every time we used a taxi. edit: Taking a shuttle means quite a few stops. You don't save that much money. Frankly for a few bucks I want to get to my hotel. Esp, after traveling for a while. Have fun. The LV Hilton is a great hotel, I have stayed there.
