The only Sebastian I know of is Sebastian Bach and he is super hot! We're not naming after him though.

I think it's just okay, it's not one of my all time favorites, but it's not absolutely horrible either.

I actually really like that name! Although, since it's so unique, it's hard to say. The connotation I have with it is either the Little Mermaid, sophisticated, or a rich kid, but it doesn't really sound homosexual at all to me. I think it's really great having an uncommon name. I have an uncommon name myself, and it's really something kind of special. Sebastian's been in the 80-100 place in popular male baby names since 2000, around Blake, Tristan, and Landon. I'd say its popular enough to not be something that anyone would have trouble pronouncing or think too strange, but just odd enough to be the only Sebastian in his class for most of his life, and be known solely by "Sebastian", rather than "Matt K." or "James H." I say, if you like the name, go for it! Although I do recommend having a somewhat more normal middle name, so he has the option of using his middle name if, for teasing or some other reason, he decides not to use it.

I love it.

And there's another actor named Sebastian Roche who's gorgeous, too. But I liked the name before I'd ever heard of him.

I love the name Sebastian! It's classic and unique. He was a Shakespeare character, with a twin sister Viola.

Sebastian Milo is on my short list.

I would nickname him Baz.

Normally, I'd say it seems rather stuffy, but a group of hunky men have formed a group called il divo. Google il divo and look at Sebastian. Oooh! I'd happily name my child after him if I liked the name.

I like it, it's not common anymore.

Don't forget Sebastian the crab from Little Mermaid (he's one of my fave Disney characters).

I LOVE that name!!! In fact we may use it as a middle name should we have a boy.

Congrats!!

And don't listen to all the haters...a name can't make a person homosexual. PLUS it means "revered" so how can that be bad???
