Yes, they tumble down to earth.

Some people have been killed by them.

A bullet fired from a normal handgun will come back down, although it will remain in flight for several seconds. Air resistance will slow it down, so it won't hit the ground with the same speed it left the gun; still, it could be moving fast enough to hurt somebody if it hit them. Firing a gun into the air is dangerous and irresponsible for a lot of reasons.

If you had some kind of imaginary super-gun that could fire a bullet at more than 11.2 km/s, the bullet would take a one-way trip into outer space, never to return. That is Earth's escape velocity, and anything moving faster than that (that isn't slowed by friction against Earth's atmosphere) will escape from Earth and become a tiny member of the Solar System. But since handguns and rifles don't fire anywhere near that speed, their bullets will come down again.

It always comes back down (what goes up must come down) but how ever depending on the type of round ( bullet) It's not lethal the round will travel in the air about 1-2 miles again depending on the type of round and angle the round was fired then it starts back down but the round does not have the same force as if it was fires straight at you the round will reach maximum or terminal velocity think of dropping a penny of the empire state building and getting hit by it on the ground it wont kill you or penetrate your skin but it may hurt a little same goes for a bullet it has to do with mass times force

A bullet will easily injure/kill someone when it comes down. Shot in a shotgun will have a different effect though, waterfowl hunters sometimes feel the bird shot fall on them from other people shooting at birds in the air between them. That is in a 200 yard arc though so no one go out and shoot at freinds with bird shot, it is a dumb idea. I should certainly hope it isn't legal anywhere, but it sounds like something an american state would allow.

It does come down, eventually. But due to wind, it lands pretty far off where it was shot from.

And its also pretty dangerous to do such a thing in a crowded place, like a city, since its very possible that the stray bullet will come down and land on someones head, which would most likely kill the person. Thats why they use blanks at races and sports games.

They go up and they come down. You maybe don't see it because as in the case of an air gun the pellet is too small to see easily and with a real gun it does up a long way so lands some distance away

the bullets will fall back to the earth, but they do not go straight up and straight down, it is unclear where it will fall down the bullets lose all their energy in climbing into the sky, then they simply follow the laws of gravity which is everything that goes up must come down but the bullet can not kill any one when it falls down all energy is gone and it will be like a small stone hitting you

According to the laws of gravity, the bullet you shot in the air will return to earth somewhere. To prove it to yourself, instead of shotting a bullet into the air, use an arrow shot from a bow.

What goes up must come down. Just because u don't see it land doesn't mean that it doesn't . There have been many cases where people get injured from "stray bullets" it happens all the time.

The bullet simply comes back down once it runs out of energy.
