how long does it take for my rats to trust me ?

ok, well i got my rats a couple days ago and i was wondering how long it takes for them to trust me and play with me. i have to girl rats, and yeah. there prolly about 6 or 7 weeks old and i got them from a petstore. they were feeder rats though. please help !!!!

They did an experiment to determine how long a rat can hold onto fear--it's basically 2 minutes. If you hold onto them gently and keep talking, they'll calm down. The more you interact, the better.

They should let you hold them by a week or so. Don't be afraid to handle them. The more the better!
