We are unsure of the sex as of yet but are wanting some input from others on names. We are looking for 2 boy names and 2 girl names that are kind of unique. We have a few ideas in mind but are wondering what others have in mind. BTW we need first and middle names!

The name name you give your child can impact the rest of his or her life.

Psychology Today published a study that surveyed over 500 Human Resource managers and over 150 college admissions counselors at competitive admission universities. The results showed that a person’s first name was a large factor in determining whether or not a person made it past the initial screening process for hiring or admission. People with odd or unusual or exotic names were more likely to be rejected while people with certain names – which Psychology Today termed “power names” – were more likely to pass the initial screening. Here are the top ten “power names” as rated by Psychology Today.

Personally, I would want my children to have unique, but not unheard of names. Have you checked Social Security's list of the top 1000 names? If you're like me, then you'd pick a name further down that list. That way it's a name people have heard of, but it's not super common either.
