I can't remember my August period very well, but I know I had unprotected sex before and after, like right away, well I had another period on September 21st, and I was to be ovulating the first weekend in October. Unprotected sex on the 5, 6, 7, and 8th. What are the chances that it actually worked we have an 11 year old and a 6 year old....

You have a 25% chance of conceiving if sex is timed right, every month. Once you hit 30 it goes down a little and every year afterwards. Most women get pregnant within 12 months of trying. Good luck.

I would say that you hurt your chances by doing the baby dance on the 5th, 6th, 7th, AND 8th. Your man has to have an opportunity to "recharge", so it's suggested that you "do the deed" no more often that every other day.

Generally your best time to conceive is two week before your expected period. If you are doing that your chances are good.
