Need more description - style, sleeves, fabric, or a pic.
Probably can - just add more autumn [ leaf ] color to the outfit - like burgundy, orange, gold, tan, brown, or rust for wrap [ jacket, sweater, shawl ]; and shoes/bag, so outfit isn't quite so summery.
Add some 'chunky' or substantial jewelry [ vs. tiny or dainty ] to complete the look.

If the weather allows it, yes.
Just use formal accesories, shoes, handbag, etc. And a nice cream colored cashmere shawl would be useful if it gets chilly.

yellow should shift nicely into a fall color, but i would use brown accessories instead of summery white ones.
