They are pretty upset! Just like last year when Detroit and Oakland made it. Eric Byrnes was on San Francisco's local sports talk show...this was when he was doing broadcasting work w/ FOX, and he said he was watching one of the games w/ one of the executives there and he was literally cursing at the TV when Detroit and Oakland advanced...so theres your answer. But its all about ratings, and bigger market teams, like NY and Boston get higher ratings because theres a bigger population there. Its all about money, not so much who will play better baseball. I think however, this will be a more interesting series rather than Sox-Yanks.

Yes, I do, plus listening last night to Chip Caray all he could do was talk about the Yankees in such glorious terms. He did not say anything special about the Indians. I thought he was suppose to be impartial. They are after ratings. I don't see why Indians and Red Sox won't have great ratings. The best teams won and moved on.

Definitely.
Cleveland-Boston should do alright in the ALCS, but I think Colorado-Arizona is going to set an all-time low rating for the NLCS.

The Angels fanbase has definitely grown.
They're happy Boston is in it and maybe Cleveland, too, because of the "historical" factor. But mostly just happy Boston is in.
Arizona and Colorado definitely doesn't thrill them lol but I think that will be the funner series.

Oh, there's no doubt about that!!! I'm surprised the obviously pro-Yankees commentators didn't immediately blame the umpires or some other outside force.

Yeah, no doubt they did.
Look back to the 2005 WS. White Sox vs. Astros.
I believe it was the second lowest viewed WS in history.
