Kari is a cutesy spelling of a perfectly nice name. Carrie Amanda and Ashley Nicole are both lovely.

I prefer Ashley Nicole. I think Kari Amanda would be better off Amanda Kari, it sounds much better that way. Good Luck.

I think they are both empty of meaning, and kind of cutesy.
Kari isn't bad if you make it a nickname for something like Caroline, Karen, or Carys. To me, Kari is a cute nickname, but President Kari Smith sounds very juvenile, where President Caroline Smith sounds much more dignified.
I don't like Ashley at all. It is bland, beginning to be dated, and devoid of meaning.
