Subject: Full Time American’s opinion of 110th Congress Performance Rating
This is possibly, the most embarrassing representatives of our country put together in one group with the entire world as an audience. What were you “Career Politicians” thinking of? We are paying you $150,000.00 plus a year for what?
• Working less than 200 days year
• Submitting bills to the President that will fail
• Submitting trivial resolutions
• Grandstanding children to endorse Legislation
How dare you chastise a novice legislative body like Iraq’s when there are so many expert “Career Politicians” who are conducting this countries legislation like some “reality TV” show. It is a sad day when this particular country (The United States of America) sets this kind of example for the other governments of the free world to follow. I personally think you “Career Politicians” need to get your collective butts together and do something responsible. If you can’t do it here then get on a plane and go to Iraq, coach and mentor the new government there just like our military

is doing for their military. I have found when teaching from you own expertise to others you tend to find better ways to improve your own techniques. Would you actually vote for yourself in the next election based on the performance of this Congress since January? I would be ashamed to reelect anyone who wants more separation instead of cooperation.
I refuse to become a card carrying party member of either side. I believe the reasons above are obvious. All of you who are trying to polarize this country need to beware of the vast number of Americans who fill the “Silent Majority”.
To summarize my personal opinion (as a voter and retired enlisted military American) get with the program or get out.

Now don't hold back how do you really feel about it.

Hell no they aren't doing their job.
from the 109th congress accusing service personnel of serve criminal conduct then after the same people they denigrated were totally exonerated there was no apologies forth coming.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
I would not want our congress to go anywhere to teach anybody to be like them.
Who wants a bunch of self serving, crooked, lying, thieving, bribe taken, legislators who will do absolutely anything to get re-elected, teaching their new legislators to do the same stuff.

Our 110th needs to get busy taking care of this nations business with a quickness.
I was appalled last week to hear different people commenting on something said on talk radio or talk TV from the floors of the house and senate. If they have that much spare time I can find them something to do.

Like maybe the jobs they were elected to do.

not great...but a vast improvement from the last few congresses that preceded it. why? I would say that although they have not done a whole lot...a least they seem to be tryinng to do some things...including being a check and balance on the president, and trying to pass some laws that actually help american citizens (people-not corporations) out.
But ....we are still a far cry from where we need to be.

We need another 12 or 13 Democrats, which will be added on 01-29-2009.

Like most Americans I feel it is still not liberal enough.

Still better than the 109th Congress.

They could be doing more, but it's not exactly easy when you're working with someone like Bush and his cronies.
