Been watching baseball on TBS, but one thing is not very clear to me. How many Octobers are there?

Evidently theres only one and we're using it up this year. Thats news to me. I'm curious what will be between September and November next year since, according to TBS and Dane Cook, there can't possibly be another October.

(sighs) Why does EVERYONE take that line so literally?! It's a figure of speech people! It means....There's only ONE chance to take the Worlds Series title...and that JUST so happens to be in what month? OCTOBER! Hence....there's only ONE OCTOBER! Ugh....why are people so literal?
