You can play online through xbox live, you need to connect a cat 5 cable to the xbox or purchase a wireless attachment, through a broadband connection.
I dont believe you can actually surf the internet though. I know you can with the Wii

I don't have a Xbox 360, but I do know that the Xbox 360 doesn't have a web browser that allows you to surf the web. I have a PS3 and the Playstation 3 however does have a web browser and you could surf any web page you wanted to. The only thing you can do with a Xbox 360 online is play games online and download stuff.

XBox it's self doesn't have internet but you can hook your internet up to it and set up an account. How to do that I have no idea I just know b/c my fiancee plays on the internet all the time w/ the xbox 360.

Does it have a web browser? No. Does it have a wi fi connection to internet like wii? Nope again. You can hook it up to your computer by a router and use Xbox live that way but you cant not Browse the internet on it.

To be honest, this has been known about since before Christmas in an unofficial capacity, but it's about time really, I hope they add full mouse support to it though, being able to use my Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000v2 and 7000 keyboards on the system already is a dream, but a mouse cursor would make it rock.

well i have a psp and that has the internet so maybe xbox has the internet too!
