It's not old-fashioned yet. It hit its peak popularity in the 1950's, so most women named Linda are probably in their 40's-50's right now. Right now, it feels kind of dated, like Susan, Lorraine, Barbara, Pamela and Cheryl. Names like Grace, Lucy, Georgia, and Lily were popular 70-100 years ago, so they feel old-fashioned instead of dated.
Linda is a nice enough name; it means "beautiful". It can also be short for Melinda, which I like. Melinda feels more classic than Linda.

Yes it's an old fashioned but nice name and should still be used. My cousin is named Linda and I didn't care for it when I was younger but now I like it.

My name is Linda and I'm 31 and yes its an old fashion name. None of my friends names were Linda but all their moms were lol

Yes i think that Linda is 2 old fashioned for a baby. I know a couple of 'Linda's' but they are all over 40 yrs. I do not like the name either, sorry.

Yes it's pretty old fashioned. I've only known one young person named Linda - and she hated it. I think Lindy is a cute though. :-)

Yes it is!! Thatz my aunt's name & she's 54. I don't know anyone under the age of 40 with that name. So I would say it is old fashioned.
