we make about 5,000 month (he makes 3,500 and i make 1,500... yeah not much but im going to go to college in 2 months so this is temp im actually going to quit and get a part time... so it will be less.....anyways.... he has court today for child support how much do you think he'll have to pay for child support? he already got the insurance for the baby.... i think it cost him $200 a month......the baby's mama doesnt work and had another baby from another guy... and if she does she works as a hotel room cleaner getting paid min wage... ..... yeah DRAMA!!!! but seriously anyone have any idea???

Okay.... i said drama because this had to go to court because when me and him got married she got mad and didnt let him see the baby for over 5 months now..... and whenever she feels like it she will go on trips for over 1-2 months to mexico with the baby.... thats why..... he is responsible but she is the one who has some issues even thou we have all moved on with our lives and i say WE because like i said before she already had another baby and is living with this illegal gangster guy

well .... i just found out that he has to pay $780 plus Insurance which cost $250 which equalls $1030.... i guess the judge said that is that much because he hasnt seen his daughter for over 5 month... WHAT ... she the mom hasnt let him!!! she left out of the country so how was he suppose to see her??? awwww DRAMA!!! whatever.... she might think she is laughing now but i cant wait to graduate from college and happily toss every dollar to her.... then go to the hotel she works at and demand she cleans my room!!!! ... oh then send her a X-mas pic of me my hubby and their daughter ALL happy.... while she suffers with her convict, drug user boyfriend..... collecting money from the government...... whew... i had to get that out of me!!!!! dam... the laws suck for the men!!!! i feel bad for them.....

Who cares....that baby needs to be taken care of. Unless he wants to fight for custody......but are you willing to do that?

No one here can say for sure, but the amount typically won't exceed 1/3 of his monthly income. At least it gives you a guideline to consider. Good luck!

why should it matter? Doesn't your husband want to take of his child? Why should it have to come to court ordered child support...that's what I think is the dramatic part.

YOUR income cannot be included as it is HIS child. It doesn't matter that you are married. They can take approx. 30% of HIS monthly income.
