Jack and Jill went up the hill
they each had a buck and quarter
Jill came down with 2 1/2
Do you think they went up there for water?

Back then they didnt have this great indoor plumbing we have now so they had to go and fetch water from the well and the creek so they could take baths and so on! Just like on little house on the prairie! Thank god I wasnt born back then- it seems like way too much work doesnt it?????

It was probably for drinking or cooking, being that once upon a time there was no such thing as plumbing.
