My tummy has been bloated for the longest time...What could be the reason?

I've read that it could be caused by an ovarian cyst or i may have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)

Can you tell me more about OVARIAN CYST and IBS?

An ovarian cyst can come in many forms such as one called a functional cyst which is a very common kind of cyst to occur. Depending on the size of the cyst as well as kind they can go away on their own but if they burst (again depending on size) they can cause a lot of pain.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome can be caused by a number of things such as not having regular bowel habits such as if one has a very busy schedule. Stress can make the problem worse and for some people certain foods can make it worse or cause it (this was the case for me when I had too much sugar at one time with the kind of desserts I had at the time nearly 15 years ago).

Another thing that can cause bloating is having a period as well as for some having endometriosis. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
