Yes there are. If you are looking for some Italians in Japan,
I would try http://friends.japan.survival-links.com
This is a good penpal or friend finder.
There are many people from all over the world here.
This site is good because..
1. It is a pay site (not expensive) so you don't get spam.
2. It has a huge data base for people in Japan.
3. After your subscription expires you can keep access to your penpals/friends AND send/recive messages from them.
Check it out and Good Luck!

E? Baka janai?
In the above words, notice that each romanized vowel sound corresponds to the way vowels are used in Italian.
Anyway, even if there aren't any Italians in Japan, there's Italian food which is done to perfection in Japan. I never really knew what "al dente" meant until I was in Japan. Pasta to perfection perhaps?
