I own the game and i also never beat one becouse of the bullet shortage but i was able to beat this one.

this game is really cool and while it does have limited ammo, you can find them on the floor and on beds and shelfs ect.

if you conserve ammo and go for the head shots you wont run out but if you go and get the place crunk youll run out...but its still not game over you can kick and use a knife...

also for a ps2 game the graphics are slick, real niceand the story is actually cool

also the a.i. are pretty intelegent...run into a house and block the doors for cover thell go in through the windows, if u block that too tell burn the house down...crazy huh?

any way the game got like a average of 9/10 with egm and psm and game informer...

go buy it its really good and only 20 bucks also after you beat the ame theres lots of extras do do

This is a terrific game. Capcom finally fixed all of what made Resident Evil frustrating in the older games. Bullets are somewhat limited, but not nearly like in the older games. Ammo gets dropped quite frequently when you kill enemies. I actually never ran out of bullets for my handgun. The knife is SO much easier to use than in previous RE titles, and you can do kicks and suplexes if you need to. I highly recommend this game, it's one of the best titles I've ever played. If you like survival horror, you owe it to yourself to pick up Resident Evil 4.

Yes it's the best Resident Evil game to date and yes there is a limited number of bullets - that's why they call it "Survival Horror"

You do have limited ammo. However, the knife is easier to use than it used to be. The bigger help is that unlike other REs, enemies randomly drop ammo, and they are more likely to drop ammo for weapons you have but are low on ammo for. On the NA and JP versions of the Gamecube build, so long as you used good weaponry and took the time to aim, you never had to use the knife or the melee moves (kicks and suplexes). In all other versions, you'll need to make some use of them to conserve ammo, but again, they aren't hard to use.

This is a great game, it's almost like an interactive movie in some parts because it is a new dimension in game scripts. You should get it...
Don't worry about the ammo, you will come across lots of ammo every time you kill a zombie...
You will enjoy it, get it as soon as you can...
