I do, I mean, who would make up that rule. I think my teachers are just against me because I where a Boston Hat, but that's beside the point. I see Yankee fans where them and they have no problem, but come a Red Sox or Mets...they just blow it! If you're a Yankee fan or whatever and you're not going to be nice...then don't comment because I don't need your insults.

ook i think the rule is dumb and the reason why we cant wear them is because the school board and priciples say that hats represent gang signs even tho you could say that about anything for example if you wear a red hat and your teacher could say you are trying to represent bloods. even tho if you wear a red shirt they cant say anything

The rule was established years ago and was not put in place just to get at you. When I went to school, people used to wear real hats not baseball caps. And we had to take those off in school, church, whenever you entered a house. That rule, remove your hats indoors go back to the to the Romans.
There are several reasons for the rule:
1) Removing your hat is a sign of respect
2) Wearing the hat, you get hot (because you body has cannot get rid of the heat) and you get sick and lose time in school
3) When you get sick, you make others around you sick (both students and teachers)
4) More recently, teachers have started to notice that kids hide weapons (knives and guns) in their hats.
By the way, the word for placing a hat on your head is "wear", not "where". You would know that if you were paying attention in school, rather than focusing on the feeling that you're being picked on by your teachers. Look for the bright side of life. You will always find what you look for.

There are a lot of reasons for this. One could be that you go to a catholic school and they do not allow hats in school, just like in churches. Other reasons could be that hats are distracting, and also can be annoying to some. I've also heard that schools have this because people were using them to cheat. I think it isn't a stupid idea, but that's my opinion.

I think the reason they don't allow hats is because
1. They're "distracting" and
2.It is possible that you could write answer to tests in the rim of the hat.
Both reasons our a little odd but that's what the teachers always say.
